HEAT SHRINK / KYNAR

HEAT SHRINK / KYNAR HKX is ideal for use where resistance to abrasion and cut-through is critical. Because it is extremely tough, it is excellent for strain relief applications. HKX can be flexed, twisted, and bent repeatedly without loss of mechanical or electrical strength.

HKX is transparent, making inspection and identification of covered objects easy. Longitudinal shrinkage is less than 5%. #HG-105A Heat Gun is recommended. To keep objects being covered relatively cool, faster shrinkage at 250-350ºC is suggested.
